Delicate, white, star shaped blossoms brighten this prairie gem June through August. True to its name, the 'Thimbleweed' replaces its flowers with graceful, elongated seed heads that resemble thimbles. Distinctly divided, lobed leaves surround the petite flowers and seed heads on this drought tolerant perennial. Buzzing happily over their find will be little bees crazy for nectar from this wildflower.
