Vegetable Description: Big Max produces large, nearly-round fruit, 17-18” in diameter averaging 100 pounds. An eyecatching variety with its llightly rough pink/orange skin and bright yellowish-orange 3-4” thick flesh. Used mostly as exhibition or novelty, but flesh is also great for canning and freezing. Matures in 110 to 120 days. This plant has average water needs and is attractive to bees and butterflies.
