Vegetable Description: This heirloom variety of cabbage was developed by Hjalmar Hartman & Company of Copenhagen, Denmark; they began selling it in 1909. Two years later it arrived to America, and W. Atlee Burpee & Company of Philadelphia first offered it to their customers.
