Native to much of America, Canadian Wild Rye is most abundantly found in the central prairies and plains of the country. This ornamental grass is best noted for it's arching, wheat/rye like spikes. Blooming in the summer, and remaining attractive well into the winter, the clumps of this native grass are a favorite in prairies!
