An annual version of the famous native "Firewheel," this wildflower can add brilliant color to any meadow. As easy to grow as it is beautiful, it's successful cultivation requires little more than scattering seed over a properly prepared area. Once established, this hearty wildflower can tolerate very dry conditions, and pretty much flourishes anywhere as long as the drainage is good and the ground doesn't get too wet. With it's bright orange or red centers, and yellow tips, it is one of the showiest wildflower, and is happily seen carpeting fields and the sides of highways for miles on end.
