This wildflower boasts scarlet red petals that are most often edged in black. This is the same flax famed for it's oil and linen purposes! The flowers sit on top of slender, 18 inch stems, and while each flower only lasts one day, they return in abundance the next day, continuing this blooming cycle until frost.
