Carpeting whole hillsides along the Pacific coast, this wildflower is one of the great glories of the west! Spikes of yellow or white sweet-pea like flowers bloom profusely, and are carefree in loose, sandy soil. Will grow in zones 3-9, but being native to California, will thrive best in similar climates.
