True to it's common name, this bluebell is a desert blooming plant that bears flowers of a rich, inky-blue. Obviously drought-resistant, it still responds in favorable ways to normal rain-fall and watering. In newly seeded meadows, this wildflower is one of the very earliest blooms to be seen. Blooming all summer, it is attractive both to bees and butterflies.
