This specialty beet has round orange roots with a rich gold interior that will not bleed like red beets! The roots of Burpee's Golden beet are sweet and mild and are best when eaten small! This striking Italian heirloom beet has alternating red and white rings running through its roots. Tops are green with pink-striped stems and mild. When baked whole and sliced just before serving this sweet variety retains its unique markings. Roots have good sweet flavor! Approximately 55 days to maturity.

Also known as Crosby’s Early Egyptian, this heirloom variety originated in Germany and is a standard early bunching beet. Heart-shaped roots are flattened and dark red in color, maturing in about 55 days. Erect tops are medium green and grow up to 17 inches tall.

The Cylindra beet has a long smooth root that's excellent for uniform slicing and produces up to 4 times more slices than other varieties! Roots grow up to eight inches long. Interior flesh is dark-red, free from rings, sweet and easy to peel. An excellent choice for canning! Roots grow almost entirely underground with small reddish-green tops. Matures in 50 to 75 days.

This heirloom beet is one of the most popular beets out there! Prolific, Detroit Dark Red beets mature in an average of 58 days. Roots are nearly globe shaped, 2.5 to 3 inches in diameter with smooth skin, and are blood red in color with virtually no zoning. Solid roots keep well, and are also great for canning! Medium green tops with tinges of red can be harvested early and used for salad greens. Resistant to Downy Mildew.
