Pumpkin Seeds - 'Atlantic Giant'

The Atlantic Giant Pumpkin is often grown for exhibition and known for growing to record sizes (some up to 1000 lbs!). Flesh may also be used for cooking. Fairly smooth orange skin. 120 days to maturity. This plant is attractive to bees, butterflies, and/or birds. Average water needs.

Big Max produces large, nearly-round fruit, 17-18” in diameter averaging 100 pounds. An eye-catching variety with its lightly rough pink/orange skin and bright yellowish-orange 3-4” thick flesh. Used mostly as exhibition or novelty, but flesh is also great for canning and freezing. Matures in 110 to 120 days. This plant has average water needs and is attractive to bees and butterflies.

Known for its deeply ridged, flat shape, this late maturing pumpkin is popular both for its decorative qualities and its long storage ability. When mature, the skin has a rich tan shade and the flesh is sweet. Usually grows from from 5-10 lbs.
