Wildflowers - Primrose Seeds

The primrose is not as fussy as it sounds. These seeds are really easy to grow, and put out a lot of blossoms during the warm season. They are called Evening Primrose because the blossoms open in the late afternoon or evening, and then bloom until the heat of the next day. The blossoms then wither in the heat of the day, but within a few hours, the blossoms for the next day being to open. Primroses take very little care, and will produce a lot of seeds to ensure the success of the next generation. We usually think of Primrose as being yellow in color, but Showy Evening Primrose breaks with that perception, and comes in a lovely shade of pink. There is a wide variation in heights among these species, so make sure that the height of the plant works well with your overall flower garden plans.
