This large-flowered aquatic perennial boasts large yellow blooms that float on the surface of the water while the roots embed themselves in the mud. Parasol-like lily pads float alongside these fragrant flowers in water up to eight feet deep. Each flower blooms for about three days, opening in the morning and closing at night. Nut-like fruits form after flowering, which, when dry, break off, scattering the contained seeds. Perfect for naturalizing, though care should be taken as this plant can become invasive. Cannot sell to customers in CT.
