Contrary to common belief, Goldenrod does not cause hay fever! Old field Goldenrod grows shorter and less aggressively than the more common tall goldenrod. Individual plants bloom at various times, thus extending the flowering season. It works well in a low wildflower meadow, a sunny garden or as a cut flower!
