Herbs - Arugula Seeds
Arugula has been around since ancient times, and is an easy-to-grow cool season green typically used to give some zest to fresh garden salads. It is also commonly called rocket, and there are wild varieties that plague our field crops during the spring and fall seasons. The leaves can vary from the traditional dandelion-like sawtooth edges, to a more rounded out aspect depending upon the parent stock. If arugula herb seeds are grown during hot weather, the leaves can get overly spicy, so they are best grown in the spring or fall.

Eruca sativa
Arugula is the perfect herb to add flavor to your salad with its delicious spicy flavor! Cut in 20 days for baby leaf, or grow it for 40 days to harvest mature leaves. Dark green leaves grow in loose heads and have their best flavor when they are 2-3" long. Sow Arugula seeds every three weeks for a continuous harvest. It self seeds freely and may become invasive if left unchecked.
