Vegetables - Kohlrabi Seeds
Kohlrabi is a member of the famous Brassica family along with cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower, but is not as well-known in America. It is a cool season grower, and once you buy these vegetable seeds they are very easy to grow. We used to grow kohlrabi seeds in our garden, and we would harvest them when they reached the size of a baseball. They can be stored in the refrigerator and then peeled and eaten like an apple, or sliced like crunchy chips. If they are grown in hot weather they can split, and the kohlrabi gets a spicy flavor to it kind of like a radish.
