Wildflower Seeds - Midwest Region
The Midwest is where Everwilde Farms started, and so we have a special spot in our heart for the natives that grow here! This region has a lot of diversity - everything from Prairie to Woodlands to Wetlands, and everything in between. There are a lot of beautiful Midwest wildflower seeds for sale here that are appreciated not only in their native habitat, but also make welcome additions as specimens in gardens all over the world. The Midwest region gets a full four seasons, with heat in the summer, and a lot of cold and snow in the winter. The rainfall is pretty well spread throughout the whole year, so watering is only needed if there happens to be a dry spell. If you live in this region and have average soil and light, you are going to have a LOT of different options for your site. If the hundreds of species listed here are too overwhelming, just filter the results with selections on the left, and get started on planting wildflower seeds in your garden.

Anemone patens wolfgangiana
Pasque means Passion, and this native wildflower usually unfolds its lovely petals around the Easter season. Known as one of the first to blossom on the prairie, it is also called a Prairie Crocus. Once established, this plant can continue growing for up to fifty years. Once the delicate blooms have faded, it produces fluffy seedheads that float away with the wind.

Pedicularis canadensis
As implied by its name, this uncommon plant prefers woodland areas and moist soil. The light yellow flowers grow in a spiral pattern and never rise very far above the ground. Growing this plant takes a little extra fussing, but you'll end up with a rarity.
